Once again, a great night thanks to the Abba Dolls and everyone attending.
It has been a busy year with lots of teams to fund so every penny counts.
The raffle was a huge success with very generous donations plus selling tickets
on the night and before hand to many of the teams we have funded.
Now looking forward to the xmas party in dec xx
loads of prizes, loads of raffles, loads of dabbers
we had some fantastic prizes donated by many generous local businesses
After a dodgy start with the microphone switching itself on and off it turned out to be a very good night, most people went home with something, we had prizes ranging from Luggage set with holiday vouchers to pampering sets with chocolates and champagne and of course lots of easter eggs.
but again many thanks to all that attended and to the local businesses

This is one that we did for the children, it wasnt a fund raiser, ticket prices just covered the cost of the party.
All the children had a fantastic time but how could they not when we had a guest appearance from the real "Father Christmas" himself, hopefully we will have the pictures on here soon.
All children recieved a light lunch and a gift from father Christmas.
They had none stop fun and games with our fantastic DJ (dave 01942 511588 mobile 07979 841 091)
The party was so successful we decided to do another one for Easter and again the kids and adults loved it.
We had the same DJ (because he is so good) and also a puppet show with Lab Rat he had the kids and adults attention for the whole show with a variety of puppets. What an entertainer.
The children recieved a goody bag and an Easter egg.
I'm sure there will be another christmas party for 2009 watch this space..
Once again we set ourselves a new challenge and what a success it was, all the ladies got a warm welcome from our waiters serving them with champagne. All raffles and prize draws where per table so prizes were spread across the room, also each lady recieved a goody bag with small gifts plus holiday and pampering vouchers,
The entertaiment was fantastic once again, Johnathan our host for the races did a brilliant job keeping us going with the bets.
But not only was the racing great we had celebrity appearances from 3 HollyOaks stars. Jimmy McKenna sang for us doing his party piece "Frank Sinatra" and he was sensational, and all 3 were very friendly and patient, they was happy to sign autographs and have photgraphs taken.
A night to remember.
Thanks to all the ladies that attended that night, we hope you enjoyed the evening as much as we did.

What a sucessful night again, entertainment was fantastic and once again a full house.
Superb vocals from entertainer, Johnathan Howard.
And a special appearance from HollyOaks stars Carley Stenson and Ricky Whittle
better know to us as Steph and Calvin.
Carley treated us to a few songs at the start of the night, and she was great.
With the raffle and auctions throughout the night we raised a fantastic amount once again.
A BIG thanks to everyone xx
Gaynor and Yvonne planned to do the sponsered walk up Ben Nevis. After weeks of 10 mile walks preparing for it, they had to change the plan on the last minute due to terrible weather conditions on the mountain.
So they caught the train to Blackpool. then onto the tram to the end of the line at Fleetwood. This is where they started their walk from. They followed the coast all they way round to the start of St Annes which they estimated to be just short of 15 miles.
After that they had a bite to eat and a well deserved drink.
Gaynor collected sponsers from family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues. She did a fantastic job of boosting the funds again.
Well Done
What a fantastic night.
Tickets sold like hot cakes, everyone wanted to be there, and why not?
We had superb entertainment from local bands Urban Circus and Monte Christo Blondes.
The raffles and game cards sold well, with great prizes, mainly donated from local shops and friends.
Cant wait for the next one.
The Balloon Release was in honour of Shauns birthday, over 100 ballooons was released from the garden of Shauns house, each one with a heart felt message.
Each person made a donation for the balloon they released.
Once again, this had a great reponse from everyone and helped build the funds further.
Shauns mum held a coffee morning at Shauns house, she also held raffles and had a little stall with goods to sell.
The response she got was great from family, friends and neighbours.
There was a constant flow of people throughout the day all wanting to help the cause.
This was a great start to building the funds.
